Main axle adapter installation
WARNING
1.
The vehicle must be
immobilized
and the
engine turned off
and cooled.
2.
Always wear
safety glasses
during installation, adjustment or repair.
3.
Please read and ensure you
have understood the warnings
and guidelines.
4.
Make sure the vehicle is
safely secured in place
by a system dedicated to this use (jack stands and hoist) and that it is supported or
fixed on locations that are not likely to break, bend or slip. A hydraulic jack is not safe; nor is a log. The vehicle must be not able to move.
1) Install the four (4) hex. bolts

into the
threaded holes of the main axle adapter

as
ilustrated in
figure 7.
2) Position and fasten the main axle adapter
01
onto the hub of the vehicle using the original
wheel nuts. Apply the tightening torque
specified in your ATV owner's manual.
3) Position and fasten the track kit to the main axle
adapter

using four (4) wheel nuts

Torque at 25 ft-lbs.
NOTE: Recheck torque of the wheel nuts

after one hour of use.
4) Repeat
steps 1
to
3
for the opposite side.
