INSTRUCTIONS D’USAGE Pour un maximum de sécurité, il est très important que votre casque soit de la bonne grandeur. Il devrait être ajusté et confortable. Il ne doit pas être trop grand et bouger librement autour de votre tête, ni trop serré pour causer de la douleur. Un casque trop grand peut descendre sur vos yeux ou bouger latéralement lors de la conduite. Toujours sécuriser fermement l’attache sous le menton afin de garder votre casque bien en place. VISIBILITÉ Les visières teintées et foncées ne doivent pas être utilisées la nuit ou sous de faibles conditions lumineuses puisqu’elles réduisent considérablement la quantité de lumière transmise à l’utilisateur. INSONORISATION N’oubliez jamais que votre casque couvre aussi vos oreilles, alors la sonorisation des bruits ambiants sera diminuée. Portez plus d’attention aux bruits qui vous entourent sur la route, tels que les klaxons, les sirènes des véhicules d’urgence et autres. NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN NETTOYAGE DE VOTRE CASQUE Utilisez une solution à base de savon doux ou de détergent sans abrasif et de l’eau tiède pour nettoyer votre casque. Séchez le casque à l’air libre à température pièce. Ne jamais exposer votre casque à des chaleurs excessives. ENTREPOSAGE DE VOTRE CASQUE Une fois votre casque nettoyé, placez-le dans son sac à casque et rangez-le sur une surface solide et nivelée, puisque le casque pourrait s’abîmer s’il venait à rouler et tomber au sol. NETTOYAGE DE LA DOUBLURE Utilisez une solution à base de savon doux et de l’eau tiède pour nettoyer votre doublure. Séchez la doublure à l’air libre à température pièce. Ne jamais exposer la doublure à des chaleurs excessives. ATTENTION: Le casque pourrait être sévèrement endommagé par l’utilisation de substance commune non prévue à cet effet. Ne pas peindre, ne pas appliquer d’autocollants, ni utiliser de l’essence ou autre types de solvants chimiques sur votre casque CKX.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS For maximum safety, it is important that your helmet fits properly. It should be snug and comfortable. It must not be so large that it moves freely around your head, nor so small that it constricts and causes pain. A helmet that is too large may slide down over your eyes, or turn in a lateral direction due to movement during riding. Always secure the chinstrap tightly to keep your helmet firmly placed whenever you ride. VISIBILITY Tinted and dark visors are not to be used at night or under any poor visibility conditions as they reduce transmitted light to the user. HEARING our helmet covers the ears, thus muffling wind and traffic noises. Thus, the helmet wearer must always check and be aware of his/her ability to hear important sounds such as horns and emergency vehicle sirens. CARE AND INSTRUCTIONS HELMET CLEANING Use a solution of mild soap or non-abrasive detergent and lukewarm water to clean your helmet. Dry the helmet at room temperature and never expose it to excessive heat. STORAGE After the helmet has been cleaned, put it in a helmet bag and store on a solid, levelled surface, as the helmet may be damaged if it rolls around of falls to the ground. LINER CLEANING Use a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water to clean your liner. Dry the liner at room temperature and never expose it to excessive heat. WARNING: The helmet can be seriously damaged by some common substances without this damage being visible. Do not paint, apply stickers, use petrol or other chemical solvents.

7 THE ACCESSORIES INCLUDED IN THE CKX TITAN BOX MAKE IT THE MOST VERSATILE HELMET. A1 | Déjà installé sur la lunette lors de l’achat, il protège l’utilisateur d’infiltration d’air froid au niveau du nez. Il est possible de le retirer afin d’augmenter la circulation d’air dans le casque. A2 | Le joint permet d’isoler le pivot de la muselière et d’évacuer les possibles accumulations d’eau afin d’éviter le gel du mécanisme. B | Le déflecteur d’haleine en néoprène peut être installé, si nécessaire, afin de limiter l’entrée d’air au niveau du nez et de la bouche. Cette configuration est recommandée pour circuler à grande vitesse par temps froid. C | Afin de limiter l’entrée d’air au front et aux tempes vous pouvez installer le Protège-visage; ce qui vous offrira une meilleure protection contre le froid. D | Les bouchons inclus dans la boîte du CKX Titan vous permettent de fermer les entrées d’air afin d’obtenir la ventilation désirée à l’intérieur du casque. E | Les protège-mentons permettent de réduire l’infiltration d’air au niveau du cou et de réduire le bruit à l’intérieur du casque. Utilisez le protègementon court ou long selon la ventilation désirée. Pour un maximum de ventilation, retirez complètement la pièce. F | La bande autoagrippantante (Velcro) prévient la perte de la muselière en cas de détachement accidentel. A1 | Already attached to the goggle, protect the user from the risk of cold air entering the nose area. This accessory may be removed to increase air circulation in the helmet. A2 | The joint insulates the muzzle hinge and prevents mechanism from freezing by allowing excess water to evacuate. B | If needed, the neoprene breath guard can be installed to prevent air from reaching the nose and mouth, thereby providing better protection from the cold. C | To prevent air from entering at the forehead and temples, you can attach a face guard to provide better protection from the cold. D | The vent plugs in the CKX Titan’s box allow you to block the air intakes to limit ventilation inside the helmet. E | The chin curtains allow you to divert air in the neck area and to reduce noise inside the helmet. Use the short or long chin curtain, depending on the ventilation desired. For maximum ventilation, remove the accessory completely. F | Hook-and-loop fastener prevents loss of muzzle in the event of an accidental detachment.

INSTRUCTIONS D’USAGE Pour un maximum de sécurité, il est très important que votre casque soit de la bonne grandeur. Il devrait être ajusté et confortable. Il ne doit pas être trop grand et bouger librement autour de votre tête, ni trop serré pour causer de la douleur. Un casque trop grand peut descendre sur vos yeux ou bouger latéralement lors de la conduite. Toujours sécuriser fermement l’attache sous le menton afin de garder votre casque bien en place. VISIBILITÉ Les visières teintées et foncées ne doivent pas être utilisées la nuit ou sous de faibles conditions lumineuses puisqu’elles réduisent considérablement la quantité de lumière transmise à l’utilisateur. INSONORISATION N’oubliez jamais que votre casque couvre aussi vos oreilles, alors la sonorisation des bruits ambiants sera diminuée. Portez plus d’attention aux bruits qui vous entourent sur la route, tels que les klaxons, les sirènes des véhicules d’urgence et autres. NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN NETTOYAGE DE VOTRE CASQUE Utilisez une solution à base de savon doux ou de détergent sans abrasif et de l’eau tiède pour nettoyer votre casque. Séchez le casque à l’air libre à température pièce. Ne jamais exposer votre casque à des chaleurs excessives. ENTREPOSAGE DE VOTRE CASQUE Une fois votre casque nettoyé, placez-le dans son sac à casque et rangez-le sur une surface solide et nivelée, puisque le casque pourrait s’abîmer s’il venait à rouler et tomber au sol. NETTOYAGE DE LA DOUBLURE Utilisez une solution à base de savon doux et de l’eau tiède pour nettoyer votre doublure. Séchez la doublure à l’air libre à température pièce. Ne jamais exposer la doublure à des chaleurs excessives. ATTENTION: Le casque pourrait être sévèrement endommagé par l’utilisation de substance commune non prévue à cet effet. Ne pas peindre, ne pas appliquer d’autocollants, ni utiliser de l’essence ou autre types de solvants chimiques sur votre casque CKX.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS For maximum safety, it is important that your helmet fits properly. It should be snug and comfortable. It must not be so large that it moves freely around your head, nor so small that it constricts and causes pain. A helmet that is too large may slide down over your eyes, or turn in a lateral direction due to movement during riding. Always secure the chinstrap tightly to keep your helmet firmly placed whenever you ride. VISIBILITY Tinted and dark visors are not to be used at night or under any poor visibility conditions as they reduce transmitted light to the user. HEARING our helmet covers the ears, thus muffling wind and traffic noises. Thus, the helmet wearer must always check and be aware of his/her ability to hear important sounds such as horns and emergency vehicle sirens. CARE AND INSTRUCTIONS HELMET CLEANING Use a solution of mild soap or non-abrasive detergent and lukewarm water to clean your helmet. Dry the helmet at room temperature and never expose it to excessive heat. STORAGE After the helmet has been cleaned, put it in a helmet bag and store on a solid, levelled surface, as the helmet may be damaged if it rolls around of falls to the ground. LINER CLEANING Use a solution of mild soap and lukewarm water to clean your liner. Dry the liner at room temperature and never expose it to excessive heat. WARNING: The helmet can be seriously damaged by some common substances without this damage being visible. Do not paint, apply stickers, use petrol or other chemical solvents.

Il est possible de le retirer afin d’augmenter la circulation d’air dans le casque. A2 | Le joint permet d’isoler le pivot de la muselière et d’évacuer les possibles accumulations d’eau afin d’éviter le gel du mécanisme. B | Le déflecteur d’haleine en néoprène peut être installé, si nécessaire, afin de limiter l’entrée d’air au niveau du nez et de la bouche.
