3 ANNÉES D’EXTENSION 2+ 3ANNÉES LÉGALES 5 ANS DE GARANTIE jusqu’à up to YEAR WARRANTY YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY 2+ 3YEAR WARRANTY WARRANTY CKX offers a 3-year legal warranty for all its helmets. When registering your purchase online, you receive a 2-year warranty extension. www.ckxgear.com/en-ca/page/warranty INTRODUCTION The helmet must be worn at all times to maximize the protection in case of any impact. WARNING: COMPLIANCE WITH ECE 22.06 CERTIFICATION The helmet certification remains valid only when the helmet is worn with the muzzle closed and with the protective grill in place. It is not recommended to ride with the muzzle open and/or without the protective grill. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE For maximum safety, it is essential that the helmet be perfectly adjusted to your head size, i.e., neither too big nor too small. It must be comfortable without squeezing the head or forehead, or alternatively, it must not move too freely around the head. Always secure the chinstrap to keep the helmet firmly in place. VISIBILITY Tinted shields and goggles are intended for use during the daytime to reduce brightness and protect the eyes. Therefore, they must never be used for night riding or in low-light conditions. SOUNDPROOFING Wearing a helmet greatly reduces the ability to hear external noise. It is therefore crucial to remain vigilant to compensate for the reduction in hearing. Pay close attention to the environment to prevent the risk of accidents. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE CLEANING THE HELMET To clean the helmet’s shell, use a soft cloth (microfiber), a mild soap or non-abrasive detergent and warm water solution. Allow to air dry. To clean the shields, use a soft cloth (microfiber), slightly damp if needed. Never expose the helmet to extreme heat that could damage it. STORING THE HELMET Once it is cleaned, place the helmet back into the breathable cloth bag. Store it on a solid and level surface to prevent the helmet from being damaged if falling on the floor. CLEANING THE LINING The lining is hand washable with mild soap in warm water. Allow to air dry. Avoid exposing the lining to extreme heat. WARNING: The helmet surface and its components could be badly damaged if using unintended materials for this purpose. Do not apply paint, stickers, or use gasoline and other types of chemical solvents on the CKX helmet.

4 QUICK USER’S GUIDE - ENDLESS ADVENTURES ARE YOURS! Pull apart the chinstrap ends to free the opening and keep them spread out to slide the helmet onto your head. Unfasten, open and then close the shield. Locate the ventilation ports on top of the helmet, at the forehead and the muzzle. Test these ports. Locate the opening button at the top of the muzzle. Using your thumb as support at the bottom of the helmet, press the button firmly to release the fastener and then pull outwards to lower the muzzle. 2 3 4 1

20 ATLAS 210° GOGGLES AND RAPID CLIP FASTENERS The Atlas helmet is designed to make the sun shield and 210° goggles easier to interchange and overlay. The Atlas RapidClip fasteners must first be installed on the helmet. Please note that the 210° goggles are sold separately and require previous installation of included Atlas fasteners. Use the downloadable template (to be found on ckxgear.com) or the following instructions. WARNING: It is crucial to ensure that the fasteners on both right and left sides are perfectly positioned before gluing them. Once the parts are glued, it will be impossible to take them off without damaging the helmet surface.
